Announcements and highlights in Santiago Comic-con 2018 that may surprise you!

The exciting Santiago Comic-con (SDCC) 2018 is about to come to an end. There were so many great shows and exciting announcements and  interviews that deeply impressed us, especially for you guys who are so interested in TV series or movies. So here are some of the best announcements in SDCC that impressed me and that I would like to share with you.

The amazing Shazam! and Aquaman trailer.

Warner Bros. is apparently trying to seize the moment while Marvel's movie-verse essentially absent this year from SDCC's massive Hall H. And guess what, they did it. Warner Bros. successfully got everyone's attention with the brand new Shazam! and Aquaman movie trailer, especially the Shazam! trailer, which is considered a new groundbreaking work after the failure of Justice League.

The Aquaman trailer on the other hand, is just as exciting. It seems like Warner Bros. is finally trying to walk out of its previous failure and start to build a decent DCEU, which is defiantly a good thing for fans. Just don't mess everything up this time.

The Green Lantern Relaunch by Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp

Another announcement about DC. In an interview with acclaimed writer Grant Morrison (Batman, All-Star Superman) about DC's relaunch of the Green Lantern comic, the scribe explained how he's going to be focusing on Hal Jordan's life as a space cop. "Basically, it’s no more apocalypse-ending story lines," he said.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming back

Creator and producer of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Dave Filoni announced that the series will return for a final season At the show's 10th anniversary.

The show, which focuses on the years in between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, originally ran on Cartoon Network from 2008 through 2013, with a sixth season streaming on Netflix in 2014. For those still grieving the show’s cancellation, its return is cause for celebration. The new season will be 12 episodes long.

Little thoughts about Blu-ray

Speaking of Star war, it just comes to me that like a lot of fans, I've got a lot of Star War Blu-ray discs in my storage, and they really take a lot of space and sometimes could make quite a mess. I always wanted a way to rip Blu-ray to mp4 to make some room for all the new coming exciting Blu-ray  collections. And recently, I've found a way.

After doing some research, I've got to know that Handbrake and Leawo Blu-ray Ripper are the best programs to rip Blu-ray to mp4, and I decided that I'll go with Leawo Blu-ray Ripper because it looks more neat and I've used another program called Leawo Blu-ray Creator to burn Blu-ray to disc and it worked very well, so I decided to give it a try.

How does it perform? Well, I haven't got time to get down to it so I'll maybe do a brief review next time. But based on my experience on Leawo Blu-ray Creator, I believe the ripper should be performing just fine.

Final words

There are still tons of exciting news and announcements on SDCC, and maybe I'll bring you more of them next time, so stay tuned! and thanks for reading!

Another way to enjoy the shows

I love so many shows on the list. Something else I wanna talk about today is my other way to enjoy my favorite shows. Yes, I watch these shows mostly on Hulu or Netflix but there is just something wrong with watching all the good stuff online with a small screen of my computer or tablet. So I came up with an idea, I wanted to burn my favorite shows on a DVD disc and play on my DVD player.

Well that sounds crazy but I actually did it. I downloaded the show, and burned mp4 to DVD with Leawo DVD Creator, which is an amazing program to burn a DVD by the way, and I successfully played it on my DVD player. It felt so different to watch the shows on a bigger screen and with a better audio effect.

I know a lot of people have burned DVD disc that they can't play due to the video format problem. But this Leawo DVD Creator supports any video format that you drop in and is able to convert it to a playable DVD disc.  So whatever the format is, it can be turned to a playable DVD disc by this program.

Well, that's just some of my thoughts, Thought it might help you.

What's next?

Okay, back to the topic. Game of Throne, Westworld, everything is good and awesome on the list. But there are still some nice and cool shows and probably masterpieces that are not eligible for the awards because they are not on air yet. In the up coming month, There are some awesome shows that fans are so excited about like Better Call Saul, Castle Rock and Mr.Mercedes going on air. And I believe these shows, especially these three mentioned above, will be just as excellent as most of the Emmy nominees.

So, I guess we will just wait and see!

A new era has come. Best 4K UHD Blu-ray player you can buy in 2018

Technology is developing in an astonishing speed, this is one fact that nobody can deny. Just when we feel like VHS cassette was yesterday, Blu-ray has already replaced DVD in a large scale, leaving VHS a historical technology 3 generations ago. And now, even Blu-ray itself can't keep the crown for long. 4K UHD Blu-ray is on its way to change our lives, and ready to start another revolution in media industry.

Do you think that 4K UHD Blu-ray is just another version of Blu-ray with a little bit higher resolution? Wrong. 4K UHD Blu-ray is a revolutionary digital optical disc data storage format that supersedes Blu-ray. It has better picture quality, better sound effect, and WAY better resolution that could bring you totally different movie watching experience. Can't wait to get a 4K UHD disc and have a try? Well, easy for now because you might not be able to watch it with your current Blu-ray player.

That's right, just like all Blu-ray discs are not compatible with DVD players, 4K UHD Blu-ray discs are not compatible with regular Blu-ray players. So in order to watch a 4K UHD disc, you are going to need to buy a 4K UHD player. But worry not, We are here to introduce you some of the best 4K UHD Players that you can buy in 2018 so that your dream of 4K UHD can come true.

1. Oppo UDP-203 ($1086 Amazon)

People say that Oppo makes the best Blu-ray players in the world for a reason. Oppo UDP-203 supports a full suite of both video and audio formats and features 3 HDMI ports for video and audio signals. But what may surprise you is that It even supports the premium Dolby Vision HDR standard, which is not supported by most other players.

Oppo UDP-203 is the most expensive Blu-ray player on this list, but if you want the best 4k UHD experience and can afford the price, perhaps you should get one.

Unfortunately Oppo UDP-203 doesn't support streaming services like Netflix. But it does't change the fact that this is one of the greatest 4K UHD Blu-ray players.

2. Panasonic DMP-UB900 ($735.66 Amazon)

Brilliant color fidelity, deep contrast and almost 3D clarity, Panasonic DMP-UB900 will restore you faith in physical media. You buy this one, you bring the experience of 4K digital cinema to the home. Plus this one is way cheaper than Oppo, so it could be your better choice is you can't afford a player over 1000 dollars.

3. Xbox One X ($499 Amazon)

The greatest gaming console with 4K UHD support. 12GB of GDDR5 RAM, eight-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, this one is easily the most powerful device in the list. With a resolution of 3840 x 2160, What could be better when you want to have ultimate gaming and movie entertainment experience in one device? But calm down, remember that Xbox One X is a gaming console device after all, so you probably won't be impressed by the the picture it produces. But, for those who need a gaming console and a UHD player, this one is definitely the best choice, no doubt.

Is there any other choice?

Of course. If none of the above grows in you, there is another choice for which you don't have to spend a penny to watch a UHD movie. Install a player software that support 4K UHD playback on your computer and enjoy.

There are some 4K video player software on the market, and Leawo Blu-ray Player is my personal favorite. Leawo Blu-ray player is a 100% free media player that can not only play Blu-ray, DVD disc and ISO, but also all the popular digital video and audio file formats. If you have 4K UHD file and don't have a UHD player to play it, Leawo Blu-ray Player can help you do that.

But what if you don't want to watch your movie on your PC? Well, you can always burn your 4K movie file to a Blu-ray disc with blu ray burning software mac free or Windows free with Leawo Blu-ray Creator, which can remain the original quality in the whole process, and then play the movie on your regular Blu-ray player.

Are you ready?

The new era is around the corner. But it could take a while for us to actually embrace the time for 4K UHD Blu-ray. Unless you use the player software, the cost for aUJD player is a little bit too much. So, 4K UHD is good, but the question is, are you really ready?

What a nice product! The first time I herd of the product was from one of my friend. She once converted her VHS cassette to a DVD disc following a VHS to DVD tutorial, and the program she used, was this DVD Creator.
